We strive to provide Access for all.

We welcome over half a million customers each year and our diverse programming includes the biggest musicals, highest quality ballet, opera and touring productions often coming directly from the West End. We regularly offer audio-described, captioned or British Sign Language (BSL) interpreted performances, as well as some Relaxed Performances.

With our own Access Forum Group we actively listen to the needs of our audience and ensure that we provide accessibility for all. After an extensive refurbishment in 2001, the theatre is easily accessible for customers.

Accessible Performances

We regularly offer audio-described, captioned or British Sign Language (BSL) interpreted performances. We also offer concessions for people with Access requirements – these vary from show to show.

Relaxed Performances

Our relaxed performances are open to all, but created for people with special needs who may find the theatre challenging. This includes people with an Autistic Spectrum Condition, learning disability, or sensory and communication disorder.
